Rayyan 2nd bday preparations...kachow!

Wow...time flies faster than buzz lightyear ...Our lil man's 2nd bday is just around the corner...it's this Sunday the 30th..excited,nervous and looking forward to tat day..hope luck is on our side and the weather is all sunny and smiles :)

Ive started bit by bit of preps for his bday this time...last year...well that was a different story.
Ive started making the buffett table props for the candies and chocolate lollies ...and as usual RayRay decided to check out what I was doing...and being him..well..let's just say that he always wants his way...hahahaha

I bought the small pail from Ikea then added the styrofoam base for the lollies

I've noticed that my little rayyan has an interest in the kitchen lately...must be all that Jamie Oliver cookbooks ive fed him everynight hahaha

Hey finally got to blog again!!hurraahhh for me!
well...hmmm anyways, ive missed out on blogging for a coupla months...so my rayyan is 20 months + now and his bday will be on 30th Dec...so ive decided to hold the bday party DIY including making the bday cake myself (with the help of hubby of course)...so yesterday night after flipping thru pages of 'how to's' in youtube,i mustered myself to bake a fondant cake (*snicker*)

Hahaha mind u this is my very first dabble with fondant,thought it was easy peasy but as usual
I managed to turn lightning mcqueen to lightning mcqueer!!!!haha i think i put too little red colouring duh!! hahaha..

Cake is moist choc btw...gonna eat it tonite with the family.
